DIRECTORATE OF MONITORING & EVALUATION OF COLLEGES

The Monitoring and Evaluation in the College Education Department, Government of Sindh has been established in January 2019, as an attached department of the College Education Department.   The directorate monitors the colleges through field visits observes the physical attendance of the staff, students, activities being done, infra structure of the colleges, implementations of the government policies, utilizations of the budget provided by the government and submits reports to the Secretary College Education Department with appropriate recommendations. Currently directorate has the provincial office at Karachi, and covering all the  colleges in all the regions across the province. However the regional or district monitoring offices are in the process to be established for better monitoring and improvement of the public sector education.

• Monitor Attendance of Staff.
• Monitor Academic & Co-Curricular Activities in colleges.
• Monitor Financial operations in colleges.
• Monitor condition of infrastructure.
• Evaluate HR in colleges and recommend appropriate solutions of shortcomings. 
• Evaluate Performance of colleges and recommend appropriate solutions to increase the performance. 
• Evaluate HR in colleges and recommend appropriate solutions of shortcomings. 
• Evaluate Financial operations in colleges and recommend appropriate solutions of mishaps.
